Submersible Pump Wire for Lake and River Applications - Heat-Line Freeze Protection Systems

Submersible Pump Wire for Lake and River Applications

Hello and welcome to the May 2018 Heat-Line Vlog.

Most people are familiar with the standard four coloured TWU wire installed with submersible pumps in drilled wells. This same wire has found its way into installations of submersible pumps in lakes and rivers, where it is often unprotected and exposed to mechanical damage from fishing lures, boat propellers, abrasion on rocks, and ice movement. Recognizing the need presented by these safety concerns, Heat-Line led the market in providing a more comprehensive solution for cables supplying submersible pumps in lakes and rivers when we released our Teck 90 cable option more than 8 years ago.

Listen to May’s video blog and learn directly from the President of Heat-Line about the advantages of a more comprehensive pump cable for lake and river installations.
