2025 Year in Review: Growth, Investment, Transition

This past year marked an important chapter for Heat-Line. Across our plumbing, electrical, retail, and OEM markets, we experienced strong momentum and took deliberate steps to invest in our people, expand our sales coverage, and formalize the company’s next-generation leadership transition.

This Year in Brief

• Added new roles across sales, engineering, production, and marketing
• Strengthened regional sales representation across North America
• Strengthened market positioning and support for SR heating cable products
• Launched new and continued ongoing charitable donation commitments
• Formalized the next-generation family leadership transition

Investing in Our Team

Growth starts with people. Over the past year, we welcomed new roles across key areas of the business, including sales, engineering, production, and marketing. In production, we expanded our team to meet increased demand, supported by collaboration with post-secondary institutions to develop and implement advanced manufacturing processes and equipment. Across the broader organization, these new roles are strengthening capacity, supporting product and service development, and helping us better serve customers across all markets through long-term partnerships and continued collaboration with distributors, OEMs, and industry partners.

Expanding Sales Coverage Across North America

To better support our customers and partners, particularly within the electrical and plumbing industries, we broadened our regional sales representation.

Our new sales partners include:

Can-Mech Agencies LTD. – Plumbing
Northern and Southeastern Ontario
KM Sales – Plumbing
Colorado, Wyoming, Montana
The Next Step Agency – Electrical
British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Northern Ontario, Northwest Territories
ElectraSpec – Electrical
Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and Labrador

This expanded coverage ensures stronger local support, improved responsiveness, and deeper relationships across the regions we serve.

Growth in Multiple Markets

We continue to proudly serve a diverse customer base, including:
• Plumbing
• Electrical
• Retail (direct-to-customer)
• OEM partners

While demand across all segments remains important, the past year reinforced the growing role of the electrical market in our business and our commitment to supporting that industry. This included enhanced regional support, strengthened technical coverage, continued investment in the SR heating cable products our partners rely on, expanding and strengthening the accessory offering that supports those systems, and joining Electro-Federation Canada. At the same time, we continued to support our plumbing, retail, and OEM markets and saw year-over-year growth across the markets we serve. Within our wholesale channel, we saw continued momentum, including a significant increase in wholesaler customers over the past year.

Giving Back

Heat-Line is committed to supporting the communities where we live and work. This year, we introduced a new multi-year charitable giving commitment in support of local healthcare through the Haliburton Highlands Health Services Foundation. We also continued our ongoing charitable donation programs with the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation and Brooksong Retreat and Cancer Support Centre. In addition, we provided support for other local community initiatives, including a Rotary-led community event and a trades-program bursary at the local high school.

Leadership Transition

Following a period of planning and preparation, we formalized our leadership transition to the next generation of family ownership. This transition underscores a deliberate commitment to continuity while bringing fresh perspective to support the company’s long-term direction.

Looking Ahead

This year delivered solid year-over-year growth, reflecting the progress made through our investments in our people, expanded sales coverage, strengthened market support, and a thoughtful leadership transition. Looking ahead, our focus remains on:

• Supporting growth in the plumbing and electrical industry
• Strengthening partnerships across all markets
• Investing in our team, capabilities, and service

We’re grateful to our employees, customers, and partners for being part of this journey and look forward to building the next chapter together.
